The eXp Realty ICON Agent Program is a prestigious incentive designed to reward top-producing agents who not only achieve significant sales milestones but also contribute to the company's culture and community. To qualify, agents must first cap by reaching $16,000 in company commission, which typically requires earning approximately $80,000 in gross commission income (GCI) - which equates to about $2.66M in sales with a 3% commission fee. After capping and moving to a 100% split, agents must complete an additional 20 transactions or meet an alternative high-production benchmark of $500,000 in GCI with just 10 or more transactions - which equates to about $14M more in sales with a 3% commission. So, luxury agents need to hit $16.67M in annual sales (from your eXp Join Date) in order to qualify for ICON status. Beyond sales performance, ICON agents are also expected to participate in the eXp community by mentoring, training, or contributing to company events, reinforcing eXp’s collaborative culture.
One of the program's key benefits is the opportunity to earn up to $16,000 in eXp stock, effectively allowing agents to recover their annual cap. The stock awards are distributed in three parts: an $8,000 production award, which vests after three years; a $4,000 cultural award, which vests after one year and is granted upon fulfilling cultural commitments; and a $4,000 participation award, which is issued immediately with no vesting period. This structure incentivizes long-term commitment to eXp Realty while providing financial rewards for high performance.
In addition to stock awards, ICON agents receive exclusive recognition, marketing exposure, and invitations to ICON Mastermind events, where they can network with other top agents and industry leaders.
